International network of hotels Ramada Worldwide will open a hotel in Chisinau
The Ramada Worldwide international hotel network plans to open a branded hotel in Chişinău, in the first quarter of 2010.
Hotel Codru, owned by U.S. Company Investment Development Group, is to become Ramada Chişinău City Center, after undergoing multi-million-dollar renovation before its being reopened as a Ramada hotel.
Located in an administrative district of the capital, in the vicinity of the German embassy and of the Parliament building, the new hotel will provide full services, business and fitness centers, conference and banquet facilities, etc.
The Ramada hotel chain, created in 1954 and having nearly 900 locations, is part of the largest group of its kind in the United States of America – Wyndham Hotel Group, encompassing nearly 7,000 hotels representing more than 588,000 rooms in 66 countries on six continents.
